Innovate USA: Capture’s Virtual Enrollment Conference Coming in June

With the theme — Future. Forward. Together. — Capture’s Innovate USA, June 9-11, will bring together the entire university enrollment management industry for a free, three-day virtual conference packed with powerful sessions, panel discussions and interactive workshops. The goal will be to offer clear, actionable plans and strategies for this new era of college recruiting.

The national, live-streaming event will bring together enrollment leaders, higher education experts and admissions counselors from across the country to establish a new path forward amid these unprecedented times, says Capture CEO Leonard Napolitano.

“Our industry is at a critical juncture,” Napolitano says. “Innovate USA, an essential part of our Future Forward initiative, will be a pivotal moment for all college enrollment professionals to join together and solidify their success during these unprecedented times.

“Innovate USA will give universities the information, tools and industry resources to react and address the immediate needs of their institutions. This means reconnecting with their prospective students, reenergizing their applicants who might be wavering in their decision process, and, in general, restoring their recruitment classes within this rapidly changing reality.”

Capture’s Innovate USA virtual conference takes place June 9, 10 and 11 from 1:00 p.m. ET to 3:30 p.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. PT to 12:30 p.m. PT each day. Registration is free and open to all at https://capture.buzz/InnovateUSA.

A conference highlight promises to be the Wednesday, June 9, keynote presentation by Andrea Jones-Rooy, Ph.D, director of undergraduate studies at the NYU Center for Data Science. Her talk, “Daring Acts of Data: Tips for Taming Quantitative Beasts from a Fire-Eating Data Scientist,” will confront the increasing “mountains of data” on the human populations we measure, including students, customers, voters, citizens, patients and more.

“The challenge,” says Rooy, who, yes, moonlights as a fire-eating circus performer, “is that we’re all drowning in data and have big questions about more qualitative and abstract things.”

Additional sessions will include:

Leonard Napolitano | CEO, Capture
Jamie Gleason | Director of Undergraduate & Secondary Ed, Capture

Journey Through Capture’s Predictive Models
John Foster | Senior Data Analyst, Capture

“The need to create personalized and relevant engagement in a virtual world has never been more essential for universities,” Napolitano says. “Institutions must connect emotionally and intellectually with students whose enrollment decisions have been dramatically complicated by the continuing disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. During Innovate USA, we will find the way forward together.”
