Capture Aids in Record Academic Quality and Enrollment for Fall ’18

With the spring application deadline in the rearview, colleges and universities across the country are assessing how they’re doing with enrollment for next year’s freshman class. One Capture Higher Ed partner is poised to enroll its best class ever in terms of record academic quality and number of students for the fall 2018 semester.

The mid-size private university in the Northeast has been a leader in online education for several years but wanted help driving more students toward an on-campus education.

Partnering with Capture for the fourth straight year, the university’s results have been spectacular. The school not only is on track for their largest class in history and their best academic profile for an incoming class, the university has also increased enrollment by 16 percent since partnering with Capture.

During the Fall 2018 recruitment cycle, 62 percent of the school’s prospective students who clicked a CBE-triggered dynamic content piece went on to complete an application.

Some of the specific goals the university partnered with Capture included growing its Aviation program, especially for underclassmen; strengthening and shoring up its business program; and growing the newly introduced Biology major.

The university used Capture Behavioral Engagement (CBE) — marketing automation designed just for higher education —as well as search consulting, digital display targeting (DDT), direct mail and Capture’s Envision predictive enrollment model with financial aid leveraging.

Also, the university’s director of freshman admission attended Capture’s inaugural user conference — the Resolve Enrollment Technology Conference —this past January in Louisville to get more information on how to get the most out of the tools used when Capture aids in recruitment and enrollment.
